About Jamie Byron

Ask any young country singer who their favorite country singers are and you are likely to hear many of the same singers mentioned; Merle Haggard, George Jones, or some of the younger stars...Tim McGraw or Alan Jackson. Almost all of the time they will be from Nashville Tennessee or Texas. Ask Jamie Byron who were his big influences are and you will get a surprising answer. They will all be Canadian. Paul Brandt, Emerson Drive, Chris Cummings ...and Thomas Wade.
In 2008 with the help of Google and Facebook Jamie tracked down Thomas, and began a dialogue that ended right here...with the release of " Dreamin don't get it done"; Ten tracks of all Canadian country music.

Singer/songwriter Jamie Byron was born in Grand Falls, Newfoundland and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. From an early age he showed a deep love of music and spent hours singing along with his heroes on the radio.
